Lorena Ruiz Pellicero (1991) is a Spanish visual artist based in Barcelona working with photography, videoart, and installation. She builds scenarios, inserts elements, and modifies them with simple gestures. She's interested in the human identity of everyday objects and spaces and how we relate them to certain actions, functions, and contexts. Twisting its meanings and functions through poetry and humor makes us rethink how we know what already exists.

Le interesa la identidad humana de los objetos y espacios cotidianos y cómo los relacionamos con unas acciones, funciones y contextos determinados. Tergiversa sus significados y funciones a través de la poesía y el humor para repensar cómo conocemos lo que existe.
