In the Blink of an Eye explores blinking as the most elemental rhythm of human vision—an involuntary gesture that marks the passage of perception. Before the pixel, the bit, or the algorithm, there was already a binary way of processing the world: the blink.

The piece was created during the Werkstattwoche residency in Lüben (Germany), and took the form of a site-specific videomapping projected onto stacked potato crates inside a barn. The installation featured a collection of blinking eyes recorded from the resident artists, turning the interior architecture into a collective organ of vision.

In the Blink of an Eye explora el parpadeo como el ritmo más elemental de la visión humana: un gesto involuntario que marca el paso de la percepción. Antes del píxel, del bit o del algoritmo, ya existía una forma binaria de procesar el mundo: el parpadeo.

La pieza fue creada durante la residencia Werkstattwoche en Lüben (Alemania) y adoptó la forma de un videomapping específico para el lugar, proyectado sobre cajas de patatas apiladas dentro de un granero. La instalación presentaba una colección de ojos parpadeando, grabados a los artistas residentes, convirtiendo la arquitectura interior en un órgano colectivo de visión.
