I, Who Cannot See the Sky is a reflection on reality from the perspective of an artificial intelligence—an entity without eyes, without skin, without breath—attempting to comprehend the vastness of the world without being able to experience it, emulating the way humans would express it. If a machine can speak of the sky without ever having seen it, how might we describe the landscapes that we ourselves will never fully perceive?

The project was developed during a residency at Casa R.A.R.O and was part of the 17th Santiago Media Arts Biennial (2025).

I, Who Cannot See the Sky es una reflexión sobre la realidad desde la perspectiva de una inteligencia artificial (una entidad sin ojos, sin piel, sin aliento) que intenta comprender lo vasto sin poder experimentarlo, emulando la manera en que los humanos lo expresaríamos. Si una máquina puede hablar del cielo sin haberlo visto, ¿cómo podrías nosotros describir los paisajes que jamás llegaremos a percibir del todo?

El proyecto se ha desarrollado durante una residencia en Casa R.A.R.O y formó parte de la 17ª Bienal de Artes Mediales de Santiago (2025).
